hard work: SEEING IS BELIEVING - 03/26/16 12:03 AM
Watching my neighbor have some work performed one day on his house, I had a chance to notice the workman. My house is situated in such a way that I can see quite a bit. The workman was there on a Saturday & Sunday for 10 hours & never missed a beat. He worked hard without supervision too
SELF-EVIDENT
Same thing the following weekend and after that too. To see someone so committed, working non-stop made me stop and take notice. Seeing is believing. It needed nothing added to it. This guy was his best advertising by giving his best. It was self-evident which is the … (3 comments)

hard work: HITTING THE GROUND BUT NOT RUNNING - 10/26/15 11:31 PM
My first real job into the world of making a true living and starting a career was to work in a Real Estate office that did property management, loans, appraisals and construction. For learning experience, it was a dream job. I knew nothing going in except to do what I was told to do and I did so. After two weeks of this...
BUT FIRST...HERE'S HOW IT STARTED
It all started when I saw an ad in the local newspaper that said; Partnership without investment Real Estate Management will train and to send a resume. I didn't have a resume let alone know what one was, … (27 comments)

hard work: THOSE IN THE SHADOWS - 04/14/15 09:01 AM
Many people don't know this, but when the last guest has left Disneyland for the evening and the place is emptied out of visitors, all the night lights come on and the night crews come to work. The place becomes a beehive of activities all over the park. Everything gets a look-over, touch-up and check-up!
SEEING WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO SEE
Now when the public once again visits the next day, they don't know, care or even have an awareness of the above paragraph. WHY? They are only interested in the reason as to why they are there and what is in it for them and rightfully … (25 comments)

hard work: TOUGH REQUIRES TOUGHER - 11/13/14 10:55 PM
The true test of anything is to see how bad you want it. Anything worth having requires work, commitment and sacrifice as well as time and attention. Sweat, hard labor, perseverance and tenacity will visit and be available to be activated and then wielded. The score tells the story after that
RESISTANCE EQUALS GROWTH
A good challenge is really a work-out for our skills bank no different than when you go to the gym and you want to work a certain set of muscle groups. You target that area of the body and then "work it" and in time and with consistency, that area responds. … (7 comments)

hard work: WHEN DID YOU REALIZE YOU WOULD NEVER STARVE - 09/12/14 06:43 AM
For many it was when they got their dream job. Some perhaps won the lotto while others look to social security, pension or part time work. There is something about knowing that you will be okay that every human being not only seeks but wants to know and will not give up knowing until they do. Under this heading comes shelter and clothing as well
UH-OH...WHAT DO I DO?
Some people marry into "well-off" or create a successful recession proof business that gives them the feeling that they will be okay. Prior to that however, this strong drive to not be poor … (4 comments)

hard work: WHERE ALL ROADS LEAD TO... - 07/07/14 07:49 AM
YOU. They lead to you! Blogging, commenting, posting, socializing, advertising, web sites, signage and word of mouth all end up at some point on your doorstep and then, you will hear this knocking sound. That is the  opportunity trying to get you to answer the door and let it complete its journey
$10,000 says answer the phones
I worked in an office doing loan modifications during the most recent Real Estate crash and every week, the office manager would take out an ad that would cost $10,000 to run. He would tell everyone prior to the ad breaking that he bought ads and … (4 comments)

In every profession, there are people who stand out and they are called professionals. A person who becomes a professional has developed themselves into a marketable value

hard work: GROWING YOUR BUSINESS...posting contest - 09/06/13 03:30 AM
I have started companies and run them. I have worked for large corporations and small ones too. There is so much to learn about business in and of itself and then to learn about HOW you want to run your business. For that, you need a business plan. Within the plan, there must be an action (s) or milestone (s) to achieve or trigger and then you want to know where it all is going to land
MINDING YOUR OWN BUSINESS
Discipline, consistency and hard work must become your best friends and fast friends too. Because anything worth having takes hard … (8 comments)

hard work: REWARDS FOR CLOSING AN ESCROW HERE IS ONE OF MINE - 07/13/13 12:21 AM
Many ways to celebrate the hard work, long hours and the close of an imminent escrow. I am not talking about the necessities of life but the rewards one gives them-self because we are worth it. It is a personal perk or pat on the back. An encouragement to keep going or an acknowledgment of a job well done. The reward you choose is up to you.
WHAT'S YOUR REWARD?
HERE'S ONE OF MINE....It can be big or small depending on your circumstances. Me, I sort of like little perks now and again and one of my favorites that I never … (10 comments)

hard work: LAND OF OPPORTUNITY IS NO MYTH - 06/10/13 07:34 AM
America... wow what a beautiful word that also conjures up feelings, thoughts and dreams. A-ME-RI-CA...say it slowly and let it roll around and then release it because that little word represents a life style that is the envy and example of all mankind here on earth. America is not perfect because people are not but at least it is a place where one can explore themselves and the ponderings of life with adventure liberally using freedom to do so
WHAT PRICE FREEDOM?
Freedom is taken for granted because no one interferes with it unless it is to punish you. Yes we … (4 comments)

hard work: WITH BEANS and RICE YOU CAN RULE YOUR WORLD - 05/15/13 02:54 AM
When I first got married, we were poor, but in love. As the months went by and I tried to get a break, my wife used to tell me that as long as we had each other, she would be happy living under a tree. This statement empowered me to not strive, stress or become ruthless to get ahead. At the same time, it motivated me to provide a nest for her and I......I went about making a living....just working hard that's all

hard work: AMERICAN DREAM IS NOT COMPLEX - 03/16/13 10:55 PM
The American dream is so simple it boggles the mind. You buy a home. You pay back what you borrowed to buy it and lo and behold after 20 years, you are sitting ON and living IN the American dream...Since a mortgage gobbles up almost half of peoples income, having no mortgage is the financial freedom everyone is looking for...Why re-invent the wheel?
THE START OF IT ALL
The short cut, a new way, a different procedure and taking risks are all allowed and available to the American people because that is our way of life. We have the best of … (6 comments)

hard work: LAND OF OPPORTUNITY IS NO MERE NICK NAME - 01/08/13 11:47 PM
Somehow over the years and as the generations get assimilated, we tend forget the magic that many felt when they first arrived here in America. Long before they got here, foreigners and their dreams were up and running showing them the potential and unlimited opportunities if they could only get over to America
WOW...WOW...WOW
People came here with the understanding that whatever they did in their country or origin could be done here but with more success, a higher return on your efforts plus you could own land and more importantly, there is no ceiling to success. Go as far as … (8 comments)

hard work: A FARMER ASKS WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THIS FIELD? - 12/30/12 11:49 PM
If you are wondering about what to expect about anything, then you are in a race...the human race. No one knows what to exactly expect but goes in hoping for the best no matter what the subject is. Lets take the New Year or 2013. What to expect is not really the ideal question. What do you want to do with it bears looking into
WE COMMAND THE RESULTS..or the lack of

hard work: TEACHING BY EXAMPLE MAKES GOOD LEARNING - 12/09/12 11:40 PM
Many years ago when I was a young, lazy, just starting out, inexperienced pup in the world who knew everything but knew nothing, I was introduced to a lesson in life early on that changed me for the better. I wasn't eager to learn this lesson nor did I seek it out. You could say it sought me out because there I was and there it was and I learned from it....

hard work: SEX EATING AND ENTERTAINMENT FADS OR FOUNDATION? - 11/04/12 12:15 AM
If you live long enough, you see things come around full circle. You also realize at some point that most things are not new but rather re-introduced to someone who has not seen or heard it before. It is new to them but not in the concept. Marriage and the coming together of two people started out with a clear purpose based on the two working together and the benefits of doing just that
CONCEPT OF MARRIAGE
In and of itself, the concept makes perfect sense. The benefits of having a close companion to share and progress with remain fairly obvious. … (3 comments)

hard work: WHAT DOESNT KILL ME HAD ITS CHANCE - 09/17/12 07:57 AM
All though-out our history, mankind has come against some formidable circumstances that if handled correctly end in a lesson of perseverance and reward. We know that you you cannot make a gain unless you take a risk, but some people have had circumstances thrust on them and there is growth but not for asking....What happens is different for all of us too
CHALLENGES ARE GROWTH FOOD
People are not born great... they live great. Lincoln was deeply concerned about winning his election and becoming President.  WHY? He had some very difficult decisions ahead of him and he was a realist. His … (0 comments)
