Heads up Canyon Creek residents! It’s October and time for our annual “Fall Festival” so be creative with a costume (the whole family) contest and head to Trailhead Park on Saturday October 29th from 4-7pm! The red carpet will be rolled out for the Costume Contest which begins promptly at 4:30-5:00 pm!
There are three categories: Most Original, Best Attention to detail and Funniest!

Ages 1-4 Toy prize
Ages 5-12 Certificate and $5 Cash Prize
Teens - Certificate and $15 Cash Prize
Adults – Certificate and $20 Cash Prize
Families/Groups – certificate and $45 Cash Prize
Tara Holzmueller, a new resident in Canyon Creek, has graciously agreed to chair The Fall Festival this year! You may have noticed all the signs around the community asking for volunteers and the signs letting you know the date and time of this years event! Besides the costume contest you’ll find Tony Maxaroni – the Texas Clown Balloon Man! The ever favorite Creepy Crawly Show will be there along with Pumpkin Decorating, Face Painting, Temporary Tattoo’s, Popcorn Machine, the popular Obstacle Course (sponsored by Dorie Dillard), Castle Bounce House, a Jewelry Sale plus wine tasting and so much more!
Our community takes pride in creating “phenomenal” events where neighbors, friends and family meet to mingle and have fun! I always marvel at our community’s response to our seasonal events.
