Just a little beauty to share with you...
I never get tired of looking at nature, do you?
It always lightens my spirit when I see a flower bloom. Watching the birds fly back and forth to my bird feeder or taking a bath at the birdbath, is my idea of spending quality time.
I've always been this way, not just since I got older. I learned at a young age the value of quiet time. I fear many children are missing quiet time in their daily activities. I believe we all need this "Quiet Time". It helps to center us. It relieves stress, gives us an opportuity to answer our questions, to come up with new ideas and solutions to problems. It renews our strength, our hope, changes our attitudes and so much more.
If your children are hard to handle, give them some "quiet time". It works wonders for all of us!
Who doesn't like relaxing by the water?
Do you have a special place to find yourself? The water is always inviting. Just the sound of the waves splashing on the shore or a babbling brook can relax the mind and bring the same kind of peace a beautiful flower gives. Find a place to enjoy your "Quiet time" and make a habit of enjoying nature. Life is more than rushing and doing. Sometimes, not doing is more important.
