Today is Earth Day
Clarksville, TN is a river town and over 200 years old. The river was the lifeline and the means of transporting argricultural products up the Cumberland toward the Mississippi River and other parts of the country.
Today, we see barges and lots of recreational boating traversing the river. Along the banks in the downtown area are walking trails, picnic tables, a boat dock, am amphitheater and playground. This is a wonderful place to sit and reflect on the years past and the beauty this area still has.
It is our duty to take care of our resources and preserve them

clarksville: Tantalizing Tulips Turn Heads in Clarksville
- 04/08/17 06:45 PM
The weather warmed to the mid-70's today which caused the tulips to raise their pretty little heads. Everywhere I turned the tulips were blooming and giving a fabulous display of color. The reds and yellows are vibrant and the oranges, pinks and purples are vivid.
Clarksville, TN is particularly lovely in the springtime. The forsythia is gone, the daffodils have faded and been replaced with the tantalizing tulips. These too will pass but I predict we have another week maybe two of their abundant show of color.
