Homes have been decorated for the holiday and even businesses will allow and encourage their employees to dress up in costumes and give out candy. Sunflowers The end of the summer is a little sad as the bounty of flowers die off and cease giving forth blooms. Some parts of the country have already had snowflakes and heavy frosts. Most of the flower blooms are succumbing to the cold nights and the lack of extended hours of warm sun during the daytime. However, this sunflower is not ready to let go. Clarksville is Getting in the Halloween Spirit Ghosts and goblins will be out to set the mood for the Haunted Swim event sponsored by Clarksville Parks and Recreation. When daylight leaves us, the ghouls and goblins will come out for our haunted swim! The lifeguards will be in the Halloween spirit and might just scare you with their haunting looks.
