Connecticut is Again the Center of College Basketball In October 2022, it was a question of how far could they go both the women and the men's basketball teams. The women had lost 2 of their best players to season ending injuries, and the men had unknowns due to graduation, early exits and transfers into the program. NCAA Basketball Championships . . It's Final 4 Weekend It's going to be an active weekend for followers of college basketball, and if you're from Connecticut, you will have twice as much to see. As expected there were no real surprises with low seeds being upset by higher seeds, and a 9 beating an 8 is not a big upset. My women's brackets are all intact, but that could change now.
