Holy Cross Golf Team Fundraiser Date: April 8, 2014 Time: Reistration 1200: Tee Time 1 PM Place Lakewood Golf Club 4801 General Degaulle Drive New Orleans, La. 70131 Entry Fee: $80.00 (includes: green fees, cart, range balls, beverages, Box Lunch and catered dinner) Format: Round will be played in Foursomes. You Do Not need to enter a foursome. Single will be place with others. Awards for Longest Drive and Closest to the Hole. Parade of Prizes drawing at the end of play during dinner.

The National Honor Society is collecting books for students in grades K-12. The books will be delivered to homeless shelters and New Orleans area schools during the holiday season. The NHS will be accepting book donations beginning Monday, November 14, 2011 through Friday, November 18, 2011. Collection boxes are located in the Middle School and High School lobbies and in the 8th Grade Center. Thank you for your donations. Junior Golfers, Parents and Instructors,I missed all of you last week. We had a great championship. The Mackel - The New Orleans Men's Amateur Championship was won in sudden death by Andrew Noto. Andrew is a senior at the University of Louisiana/Lafayette. Andrew has been a visiting instructor to our classes and I am very proud for him. A great win. I am very proud of the Holy Cross Tiger Golf Team for volunteering their time both days of the championship.We will have class tomorrow - 9:30 to 10:00. Lakewood Golf Club Junior Golf This Saturday may be the best weather we'll have all year. I am looking forward to seeing all of you.Class will be from 9:30-11am. Lakewood will be the hosts for New Orleans Men's Amateur Golf Championship next weekend, October 29 & 30. We will not have class next week. You are welcome to come out for the Short Course or practice after 12 noon. I want to personally thank the Holy Cross Golf Team for volunteering to assist during this championship.
