How Do I Decide How Much House To Buy? Dear Holly, I have been working really hard and think I am ready to buy my first home. I am getting conflicting advice; some folks are recommending I buy the cheapest thing I can afford in the area where I want to live, others are suggesting I stretch a little and get an extra bedroom and bath. Dear Holly,

My home has been under contract for the past month. Yesterday, my purchaser told me they will be transferred in the next two years and wants to get out of the contract. I can't believe this! I had no idea that was a possibility for them or I would not have accepted their offer.I need to talk to an attorney, but have no idea what I should be asking. Can you provide any insight?

What does 'Coinciding Settlements' Mean?

Our agent has mentioned something about 'coinciding settlements.' We don't really understand how this would work. Can you explain how we might utilize this contingency in our Virginia contract? Sincerely, Stressed about the move

Confused in Northern Virginia
