April Showers Bring May Flowers - getting some rain in Haiku Maui this week
After a very dry April here in Haiku Maui, we're finally getting some real rain. I don't mean just a quarter inch overnight, I'm taking about 4 inches overnight! On top of a couple of inches the day before, that's enough to add thousands of gallons to the water tank and keep the gardens happy.
We count on the rainfall to fill our water catchment systems, and we need the rain to make everything green, so we really appreciate this bounty from the heavens. … (7 comments)
