That's a dumb thing to say, right? I mean, blogging should never hurt your SEO-- not directly-- but very possibly indirectly. Somebody named "John Henry" just spammed one of my posts. He posted as a "member", but when I went to his profile page, of course it was totally blank. Except his phone number, which I called. Turns out there was no John Henry there. The cell phone belonged to a Wendy. This is an opinion piece, take as you wish, but I think Washington Mutual is predatory on what economists would call a micro level.
