Hyperpigmented southern Utah skyline.
Driving to and from work can be monotonous when putting blinders on and simply cruising to a destination. Since the days have shortened due to the time change, I am able to capture some amazing cloud formations just as the sun sets.
My twenty-two minute commute is oftentimes filled with a hyperpigmented southern Utah skyline, fulminating my siteline. ~Wanda Kubat-Nerdin

Washington County Utah Residential Market Report - Feb 2018
Spring has arrived and home buyers are ready to purchase in the southern Utah area. New construction permits total 761 from January 01, 2018 to March 18, 2018, 495 for Single Family Homes and 266 for other. Single Family Residential Sales decreased from 229 in January to 225 in February 2018.
Due to a new construction boom, a home may take 6+ months or more to build due to the backlog of permits submitted to the surrounding cities. Consumers should hire an experienced Realtor when building a new home. Building contractors represent themselves, not the buyers.

Spring is here! Do you suddenly feel a renewed sense to press forward by creating more business? Trees are budding, flowers blooming, warmer temperatures have awakened nature from winter's dormancy.
There is much to learn about the life of honey bees, flitting quickly from flower to flower, collecting pollen to ensure their future. Making the most of the day, floating effortlessly among targeted blooms.

Sunny days are missed when gray, billowy skies take over, casting dark shadows along the landscape as they scurry along or set in. Thankfully, there are few and far between days like that here in southern Utah.
With over 300 days of sunshine per year, the St. George, Utah area produces some of the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. Add that to the picturesque canyons, red rock cliffs, sandstone bluffs, clean air, small town atmosphere and mild year 'round temperatures and you’re home. Sweet home.

St. George Utah offers a high desert climate due to being in the northern extension of the Mojave Desert. Clear skies with relatively mild winters allow year 'round golfing, fishing, hiking, biking, running, mountain climbing, horseback riding, and camping in the area.

This cute tourist couple came for a visit and fell in love with the southern Utah area. The sunny days, palms trees, towering red rock and sandstone bluffs, hiking and biking trails helped spurn their decision.
Coming from northern cold country, the mild winter weather in St. George ensures their nether regions will be frost-free from this point on. Now THAT is something worth moving for! Happy Sunday all!

You can't go wrong when sporting such a vibrant hue. STOP! And "look at me," it says, while all respond in kind. This pigment enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate, and raises blood pressure.
Blood, fire and rubies grab immediately, encouraging people to STOP! and take notice. Passion, desire and love are associated with this emotionally charged color. So, do as nature does and wear RED when in doubt!

Sales in February mark a 5 month trend of Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb closings being the highest for those months since 2008. Stats are of Single Family Residential Sales in Washington County only, no outside sales.
February Market Snapshot:
190 Single Family Residential Sales 1825 Single Family Residential Listings 20 Notice of Defaults 11 Trustee Deeds List to Sell ratio at 98% Number of Sold homes rose by 419 from this time last year.

Tell it to my buds!
Spring officially starts on March 20, 2015 and brings increased daylight, warmer temperatures, nature's renewal and the earth's revival. Here in southern Utah, it appears that time itself has been fast forwarded!
Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, the honey bees are buzzing. Our Apricot tree is no longer dormant and appears to be saying, "Not Spring yet? Well then, tell it to my buds!" Happy Wednesday all, here we go...
