The Waukesha County Real Estate market has lots of history. On Maple avenue in the City of Waukesha sits the remnants of the Fox Head brewery, and people are pulling together to save the building. The City of Waukesha is famous for it's water. The water was bottled by the Whiterock beverage company and the Whiterock beverage company was renowned for it. Of course it also bottled soda, and other soda companies followed suite as well in Waukesha such as Bon Ton and Roxo. Waukesha County Life has always been pretty interesting. Earlier in my life and to this day. I have found memories of hanging out with my grandfather when I was young. Saturdays were a ritual; a trip to the dump so the guys could get together and chew the fat, in North Lake so he and his friends that had diabetes could eat their jelly donuts, and of course the cheese factory in Mapleton to get a half a brick of cheese. Waukesha was known the world over for it's high quality water and healing powers.
John Weber a Milwaukee Real Estate agent purchased a 87 acre plot on the northern side of Waukesha, Wisconsin . Mr. Weber had no idea what was to come and the monumental impact he would have with the Moor Down mud baths and a health resort. One thing I always welcome when Lars and I drove through the Waukesha Country Real Estate market is all the beautiful old train stations and depots that have been preserved and are a welcome sight. The history that these beautiful stations and depots have are long ans wonderful. The large outstanding train station and depot in Oconomowoc is a great example. After the Milwaukee Road pulled its passenger service in the mid-1970s, it was vacant for years.
Today the depot is a popular restaurant and on the National Register of Historic Registers.Another station is the one in the City of Waukesha.

Of Course, you can find them in Waukesha County Real Estate and Milwaukee County Real Estate. I'm often the designated driver for my friends when we go some place to watch Packer Games. I can tell you my friends may have too many of these little gems. When you enter a fine Wisconsin establishment or bar, tailgate party or restaurant and someone is celebrating you can tell they may go all out and order an aber gut (German for Oh Good!). Often I make reference to many of all the great things one can do in the Kettle Moraine area. It was not too long ago someone asked "Hey Tom Braatz, what is a Kettle Moraine?" Well it's not so much what is it,

When I was younger and would hang out with my grandmother driving her nuts she would often suggest I go mow the yard, pull weeds, or do some physical work so I could appreciate a good days work. Often I would look in her refrigerator for food and comment that her ice box should be colder. Of which she would reply "You don't know how good you have it Tombo, I remember always scraping and cleaning the ice chest."
