Wednesday's Thoughts - My 2¢'s Worth
Back off productions in your "studio" and on get on and off camera at the property, a property. Let's go to a home and see you tell us all about the garbage disposal. Part of the video is showing you the problem area, talking them thru the solution off camera with the disposal being in the frame and you narrated at the site. And then cut to a dissolve of you leaning back against the kitchen counter talking one on one about how this could have caused a fire and is something to be on the look out for..etc. It shows you in action doing a home inspection in a home, not a studio. Bring some lighting but talk them on the premise, on location. Way way more powerful. Video is huge! Thanks for the post of you work, success! You are uncomfortable as new, and the lighting makes you feel like you are in a police line up right? Like a deer in the head lights?
I definitely think this will be helpful to buyer's and set you apart from the rest. The quality was excellent and the more videos you do the more natural it will become.
This is a great start with great content. You seemed a little nervous...but after reading your comments...I understand why. You will be a pro at this in no time. I do loook forward to more videos.
I love the big box in the back ground. It really give a close up look. It looks great with you in the front. Nice job.
Michael: Congratulations on the feature and your new studio.. Looks like you are ready to turn out many great videos !
Totally cool and I love the big picture in the background. One comment, you talked about becoming energized and I get the feeling that that means being shocked. I would want a clearer and simpler definition. Energized could be a bad thing!
MIKE..I love this..How about ..Video Fix it clips.. and a little smile at the end..Great tips ..great idea

I'm repeating here, but loosen up and just say it... don't read it. You've said this stuff a gazillion times, and know what you're talking about. Just put one specific person (who thinks you are brilliant) in your mind, and talk like you are talking to them.
And add in a little "once I inspected a home and..."
On youtube, go to the little gear next to the embed code, click on it, and choose to not allow related videos to pop up at the end. And you can do a colored border if you choose. Just do that, THEN copy the embed code.
It was cool to see what you look like... not what I expected.
Way to go... I'm having fun with mine...
Michael, You have done a really great job and it's way cool!!! Don't change anything, just relax a little.
Wonderful concept. Loosen up a little and I think it will be great. You might also sound a little better with a mic.
Alright, that was very good for your first one. I have tried some and 30 or 40 takes later I am still looking for something to post.
Great work and I will get my butt in gear.
Great concept! I definitely could use something like this to help clients understand the process.
Michael - Congratulations on the new studio! I liked the video, the concept was good. The more you do the easier it will become! - Laurie
Congratulations on adding video to your business, nice idea. Professional and caring presentation of your facts, that comes across.
Very creative! GOod luck to your venture and presentation! Thinking out of the box is always helpful.
Hey great job for the first time out. The green screen could be a confusing thing when you are talking I imagine. You did look a bit nervous, you need more confidence in your presentation, saw your eyes drift to your script alot. But what a nice effect all your CGI was. Good luck!
