Delaire Landing condos are renovating its recreation center.They had not been updated in many years.The main entrance room and that overlooks the  beautiful pools and scenic Delaware River where you can watch boats and ships pass by..what a view..

Delaire Landing is Located in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia Pa.It is a Gated Community located on the Delaware River .The residents call it the best kept secret in Philadelphia Pa.

Minutes from center city there is a shuttle bus that runs daily to the  SEPTA train station..and minutes outside of Bucks county Pa

Delaire Landing has many activities in the main room of the recreation center. There is a fireplace where a 52" Sharp Aquas LCD 1080P  was purchased by the Master council..Will Kane(Vice president) and his sons were kind enough to shop,find the best price,and pick-up and deliver the TV to the rec center.It will be professionally mounted and installed this week.I am not sure but I think a stereo surround sound system may be installed also..What a fantastic place to watch the sports games or enjoy a great movie with friends.There are four  large leather sofas ordered. They should be delivered shortly after the set up of the 52"LCD 1080 P TV..

Delaire Landings Recreation also has a library that has been restored with the help of Judy Feinberg,Dot Holmes,and Judy Plymouth.They have worked very hard to go through all the books ,put them in the right categories and neatly put them in alphabetical order.The next project will be DVD and video ..All of the books and video are donated by the residents of Delaire Landing Condos.When you want one you just take it ..When you are finished you bring it back..It is done on the honor system

Delaire Landing Recreation Center also has a card-room where afternoon and evening card games take place.Neighboring condo residents from Bakers Bay join in the games.New card tables and chairs were recently purchased for these games that are enjoyed by many residents and their guests..

Delaire Landing Recreation Center has a gym and work out room we are looking into some newer equipment in the future ..renovations cannot be done all at one time
