I have several people who come up to me on a montly basis asking me what it takes to be a real estate agent. Many people think being a real estate is easy. All we do is show homes and write contracts. How hard can that be? Then, we give that little laugh inside of us. We have all been there in the trenches. Real estate reminds me of being in retail. Retail is a mind set which must deal with the public. What do you do when you have a Mom screaming in your face with her baby during Christmas time? You give her whatever she wants to get her out of the store. Real estate is a contact sport which means we must talk with people to close deals.
