Here are the steps that I have taken to position myself in Phoenix:
- Research the radio station that matches up with your intentions
- Develop one stop show for real estate investors-Set up a Dream Team
- Be consistent each week on the radio to develop loyal listeners
- Have workshops once per month to meet the public
- Purchase 24 hour number for live operator
- Obtain sponsors for the show
- Set up podcast on web sites
- Blog on Active Rain
I did a live show on the holiday weekend. I have another rival real estate show at 9AM on the same station. I was informed that he did not receive one phone call. That was an indicator that everyone was enjoying the weekend. However, my goal was to receive 10 calls on or off the air. Bingo! I receive a total of 9 live calls to the show and three from the off air number. This tells me that people love my show at all times. My tag line is "Make the Call, Set the Plan, and Do the Deal$."
