As you are no doubt aware, over the past few months my blogs posts have featured a variety of success-related themes.
A Planned Journey
This has not been accidental.
Nor has it been totally unrelated to the theme of real estate marketing.
Towards the end of last year, it was becoming increasingly difficult for me to find fresh approaches to the topic of real estate marketing. I'm sure that many people can write about real estate marketing forever. For better or worse, I am not one of them.
I was beginning feel that when writing about real estate marketing, instead of offering new insights and observations, I revisiting ideas that had already been addressed...some more than once.
So I started to write about success.
A Shift In Web Content
There were two reasons for this shift.
First, the new content for my website had shifted from 'pure' real estate marketing ideas to success themes.
Not surprisingly, my blog posts followed the direction that my website was taking.
As a result, my website now contains the following four categories of success-related content:
With a combined total of 66 pages, which is 30% of the current total, these categories are in effect a 'mini-website' focused on success.
Some of my blog posts have been based on this content. I hope that you found it helpful.
Effective Marketing Includes Understanding Success
Realistically, regardless of what product or service you offer, it is virtually impossible to survive over the long term, without effective marketing.
Similarly, regardless of your product or service, it is virtually impossible to market effectively, without the most basic understanding of how to achieve the results that you seek.
In other words, it is very difficult to market effectively without knowing what success means...and how to succeed.
My posts about success were less a side-trip than supplemental content about what you really need to succeed in your business.
It seems to me that you simply cannot talk about marketing...regardless of what you are marketing...without also considering success.
What do you think?
