A Great Day I Met The Man In College Station Brenda and I went to RE Bar Camp in Austin two weeks ago. We took a room because we intended to stay for the party, but then missed it. As planed we went exploring Friday taking 14 hours to get back to Houston compared to what took us less than 3 the day before.
When we arrived in Collage Station we looked up Trey Thurmond. We were lucky, Trey had time to talk with us and we spent a great hour together. Trey is indeed the Texas Gentleman, the stereotype we all grew up excepting Texans to be.
Besides the general balderdash that you'd except from two sesaond war horses we talked real estate Collage Station real estate. Trey knows real estate and couldn't have picked a better source.

Trey knows I'm looking for a project, probably a new subdivision, but maybe new apartments possibly even an apartment rehab. We'd talked several months ago because while I'm primarily interested in Galveston or between there and Houston, but College Station is on the short list. One of my partners is very interested in it.
With out Active Rain I might never have met Trey. What more can I say? A dozen or so new acquaintances at Bar Camp and Trey on Friday it was a great trip.
