When in Doubt, Fake It...
If you are like me, it's easy to get confused and the ability to distinguish one's right hand from the left can befuddle even the most intellectual of us at times. Sure, one can fall back on the simple solution; look to see which arm you are wearing your wrist watch. That will work unless you are one of THOSE who wears their watch on the OTHER arm. And if you don't wear a watch, this will confound issues even more putting us back at square one.
Perplexing as it may seem, distinguishing right from left can be mentally challenging for some. When in doubt, just fake it! You have a 50/50 chance of being right...

Michael, my husband loves to tease me about being a REALTOR who's "directionally impaired." Maybe like my daughter Amy, it's because I'm blonde. But seriously, I've been in the same location for almost thirteen years and still sometimes turn the wrong way when I pull out of the parking lot. sigh
I do know left from right. My five year old grandson just explained it to me. Hold up your hands with knuckles facing you. The one with the L formed by thumb and fingers facing in the right direction for an L is the left hand. Got it?
I couldn't figure out which arm to wear a watch on so I gave up and carry a cell phone. :) Really, the worst part is visiting a home where all is backwards and not realizing it before you turn on the shower! HAHA.
Michael, Left/right, which way is up?? At least with those handles, you know what is what. Some places with the universal handle, hard to tell where hot and cold are until you find out the hard way!
Michael, was this picture taken in the southern hemisphere... something to do with the coriolis effect?
Howdy Santa from the great state of Texas and Canyon Lake. As an inspector I can't tell you how many times I have seen the big switch-aroo with the Hot and Cold faucets.
Just paint an L and an R on your shoes and you'll never forget again! Nice holiday profile pic my friend!
LOL! I usually just say... I have no idea, but I bet I know who does! Then I ask one of y'all! :OD
He he ...I had to look a few times at this...thought it was my eyes, or the fact of me being sick! Take care!
Michael,
I'm a righty wearing ( when I do) my watch on the left, but when I go shooting I close my right eye. I think I need your phone with the auto leveler inside to make sure the playing field is indeed flat
Enjoy the day
Well, Santa, you are certainly right about that! Or is it the other right?
Michael
When in doubt, fake it sounds like a plan.
Good luck and success.

I like Craig's solution. Your photo made me laugh, a clients home failed the CO inspection for that very reason!
Funny photo when you think about the 50/50 rule. Take a guess if you don't know, you'll be right at least half of the time.
