Snowstorm Photos For Lindenhurst NY Babylon Village & West Babylon NY - 12-2010

Since I was able to leave my development, I decided to drive around and take photos.

Below, are photos of Argyle Park in Babylon, NY: The lake was mostly frozen over.

Lindenhurst, NY -
Heading Westbound towards Delaware Avenue: The roads weren't bad as long as you drive slowly.

Those are snow drifts covering that part of the pool building.

I actually stopped a few times to help people that were stuck. Some corners had a good amount of snow and when you stop, you can get stuck. Good thing I had my shovel with me.

You guys are getting so much snow back there.  And yet, in Denver we are seeing none.  Hope you survive.  Great pictures.

You could easily turn one of the first three into a winter themed blog header.  Great shots.  I'm jealous of your snow.  All we have is fierce wind today.  I think my trash can and recycle bin may be in Richard Weisser's yard in Georgia by now.

I love looking at your snow pictures as long as I am safely tucked inside and don't have to drive!   LOL   We got about 5 inches Christmas Eve here at my hubby's house in Illinois but no more!   Today we went out and it was pretty chilly but roads are really good!

Be Safe!!!

Great photos Jackie. In NYC we had about 12 inches of snow and the city looked deserted and public transportation was terrible. I believe the Long Island Railroad canceled their service?

Hi Andrea, you know the answer to that question is.................YES! lol :)

Hi Belinda, it's starting to melt. This week will be in the 40's so it's going to melt.

Hi Chris, LOL! It's going to melt this week since it's going to be warmer straight through this weekend.

Hi Richard, yes it was! Streets are getting better :)

Hi Barbara, I'm right there with ya! :)

Hi Donna, I'm ready for Spring, lol. Now I'm seeing larger snow mounds since everyone has been shoveling and plowing more today :)

Hi Deborah, The streets are pretty good today. The side streets, well that is another story! It will be getting warmer this week so it's going to melt :)

Hi David, as of last night, the LIRR only had 4 stops going and that is it. You have to feel bad for people that were stranded!
