It is true that business can come from many different buckets; but probably they fall into two categories. Those we don’t know (usually a website lead) and those we do know (referrals).
Trying to balance those two initiatives keeps REALTORS hopping for sure. And because I run a team, website leads are important and I work hard to keep them coming in.
But last Thursday night, we held one of our six client appreciation events. It was a wine tasting party and is always well attended. With so much going on right now between Family Reunion, daughters flying all over the country, business picking up…I was not really in the mood to take time out. I felt like I needed to keep pushing.
But what a great way to Pay it Forward to the clients who bought or sold with us and those who refer business to us. We changed the venue this year to a cute winery that opened last year in Fishers and I think we’ve found the keeper. The people there were so knowledgeable and we got to taste seven different wines; two dry whites, two dry reds and three sweets. The Sauvignon Blanc was my favorite. And there was so much interaction; I needed the time, the laugh and probably even the wine!
Client appreciation events are a great way to reconnect with your clients and to spend time with your team in an environment other than work. Job well done Team!
