Wordless Wednesday-The Bonds of Brotherhood

I have three terrific sons, ages 20, 16 & 10.  It's not very often that they're all together in one place, so I took advantage of the opportunity I had for this photo a couple of evenings ago.  My two older sons had decided to go fishing at a local pond that is stocked by the city.  Razor Ridge Park is  a quick 10 minute drive from our home and a nice place to enjoy the sunset.  My husband and I decided to run out and see how their luck had been, and we brought my 10 year old along with us.  The fish had been biting and they enjoyed each others company throughout the afternoon and evening. There's nothing like the bonds of brotherhood!

I love it! My boys don't get together too often, because they live too far apart. But the next time I get to have them here together I'm going to remember to snap a picture too!

Love how the pond is a mirror and the sky is reflected perfectly...  I have to have my son (he lives in La Verkin) if he has been here. Looks like a lotta fun.

Erika, what a great photo and love the reflections in the lake that you captured.  I too have 3 sons (and 5 daughters) and the times that  they all are together are fewer and farther between.  We need to treasure them while we have them.  They're definitely a gift!

Judi-thanks for stopping by, I love shots from the back too.

Norma-Because of the large age gap these times are pretty rare. This is a keeper, for sure!

Marte-Be sure to get that photo next time, you'll treasure it in the future;)

Kristi-I am truly blessed, thanks for commenting.

Lisa-I love the candidness (is that a word) of photos taken from behind.  Thanks for your comment.

Kat-What a small world it is!  If your son hasn't been to this pond, he really shoud take the time to visit.  It's tons of fun..

Lora-Wow, 8 kids in all! That's amazing, my hat's off to you.  You are so right, I try to soak up every minute I have with them, this time is so precious.

Ginny-Glad to hear from you:)  Family bonding is something we need more of, I'm glad we had this evening together.

G-I hope these times mean as much to my boys as they do to me.  Thanks for stopping by.

Chris-Thanks for your comments, I couldn't have said it better!

Myrl-Thank you for stopping by and the compliment.  Wish I was a better photographer....
