Not long ago, I received emails from a few people regarding a post which included a photo of a downtown street. They were genuinely surprised to learn that Kansas City, our little Cow Town, has tall buildings! So I've been snapping photos of tall buildings in between business appointments as I travel around Kansas City. Please enjoy!

The new symphony building is expected to be complete this fall. Helzburg Hall will seat an audience of 1,600 with the furthest seat being only 100 feet from the stage. I am looking forward to enjoying the acoustical experience!

Glad you enjoyed the tall buildings photos, Nor. Most people do decide they need more time when visiting Kansas City. We have several excellent hotels and I know a wonderful Bed and Breakfast.

Love the design (based on Sydney?) and seating of the new symphony hall. There's a new performing arts center being built in downtown Las Vegas now, too. Can't wait for it to open!

Maria, Like John my first thought of the Symphony Hall photo was the one in Sydney.  Great photos!  I love the mix of the old and newer buildings, great skyline!
