Do You Remember the First Time You Did It?

I do.  I remember it like it was yesterday or rather yesteryear.  What am I talking about?  You know what I'm talking about.  Well maybe not.  Especially if you're a property virgin.

If you are thinking about buying a home, then you are old enough to remember how scary many of your "first" expediences were. That's expected and buying a home is no different.  It can be a little frightening.

One of the best things that you can do is:

  1. Educate yourself on what to realistically expect and where to start
  2. Build you a team of real estate professionals (agent, loan officer, home inspector, title company, etc) that will confidently guide you through the process every step of the way.
  3. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
  4. Attend our First Time Home Buyers Seminar on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Five Points South Public Library.

We'll have real estate agents, a home inspector, title company and more to answers those questions that may have you bewildered.  The question that I get most often from 1st time home buyers is "where do I start" and I can't think of a better place than our First Time Home Buyer's Seminar.

Charita ~  When you've spent a bit of time working in this industry, it's so easy to overlook all those "small" issues which weigh on prospective purchaser's shoulders -- nice job of setting forth some of the finer details!

Those early experiences can be scary.  I was fortunate that I had a great broker that was willing to walk through everything in the early transactions.  Boy, did I ever appreciate it!!

Exactly Tish.  Doing the homework and getting one's duck in a row can ease the burden.

You were very fortunate Mike to have that helping hand.
