This is a compelling story in so many ways.
A Chinese immigrant comes to the United States where he thinks there is "Truth, Justice, and the American Way". He buys a home in New York and everything is fine.
Then he finds out that someone just happened to use his home in some kind of mortgage fraud scheme. The fraudsters get caught and you think that would be the end of it.
But somehow this homeowner gets caught in a legal nightmare that goes on for ten years. He figures that justice ultimately prevails in America, unlike his corrupt homeland of China. He figures that he will fight the good fight. It's the American Way. But instead of a happy ending, he ends up dead just days after he he tried to expose evidence that the judge was corrupt.
Two months earlier he had put up a YouTube video saying that if he was found dead, that people should first look at the judge as the prime suspect since detectives had previous intimidated him and warned him that if he went forward with his evidence that he would be killed.
There's a lot to this story. I'll provide links so you can look into it yourself.
We are in big trouble when you have to fear for your life from the justice system. This needs to be investigated and justice must prevail.
