My long days of selling Nashville real estate seems to be a never ending battle, and looking ahead to 2008, I don't see a lot of breaks in the action, so I did something over the Christmas holidays that I had never done, or even considered. I went on vacation to another state, South Carolina to be exact. Why South Carolina? I'm a golfer, and most serious golfers know that coastal Carolina has some of the best golf courses in the country.
While driving though the low country along the ocean, A thought came to me that maybe I should have a license and sell property in South Carolina. Elizabeth and I both love the Plantation style homes , the live oaks with moss hanging over the streets, and the fact that retirement communities are still mostly in Florida. I could take vacation and work at the same time. Would that really be vacation? Probably not, but It would be a change of pace, and the weather is usually much better during the winter months, when Nashville real estate sales are at it 's slowest time.
I'm sure that a lot of my friends in active rain have the ability to sell real estate in 2 states, so I'm hoping to get some feedback on this subject before my plans get too far along.
Have a great holiday
