New Hampshire Memorial Day Observances
Freedom is not Free
We honor our military men and women and their families who pay a heavy price to help keep America safe and to insure our freedoms. We thank them and we remember and honor those who have have made the the ultimate sacrifice.
"Their wounds are both physical and emotional. Many have significant medical challenges while others are homeless. Families are strained trying to cared for loved ones who have come back with injuries. So, on Memorial Day we not only remember those who have given their lives so that we may be free, but those men, women and their families who have sacrificed their health and well being. These families need support both emotionally and financially." Collen Powell
New Hampshire residents and all who read this post are invited to make a donation to assist our veterans and their families by going to the National Memorial Day Concert website.
"Your caring support can make the difference in whether someone succumbs to the darkness of isolation and dejection or embraces with new resolve their continued recovery to reach new potential."
