Riverfest 2012 Clarksville TN was a huge success. September 7th and 8th brought several thousand people out to experience the 25th Anniversary of Riverfest Clarksville TN. It was a really great time, to eat and drink and buy crafts and enjoy music from a variety of music genres and talented artists.
The banks of the Cumberland River were covered with people on blankets, sitting in chairs, standing and swaying to the music. Many festival watchers came by boat and anchored close by to enjoy the entertainment from the comfort of their boats.
Shortly after dark, everyone was delighted by the Lighted Boat Parade that cruised down the river. Then the headline artist, rock and contemporary recording artist, Kip Moore sang his new hit, Somethin' 'Bout A Truck.
Riverfest 2012 Clarksville TN was committed to a recycle program in cooperation with BiCounty Waste Solid Waste Management and patrons gladly did their part to cooperate by separating their trash.
Festivities were courtesy of the City of Clarksville and sponsoring businesses of Clarksville.This was another free, fun music festival that was enjoyed by the folks of Clarksville TN.
