Kerrie. This lady is a trip. Personality overflowing. She's also a kind, wonderful mom and wife. I suspect even the horses love her.
She's also threatening to get a real estate license and wants me to mentor her. EEEKKK. That might force me to show my "dark side" because when it comes to real estate practice I'm tough, tough. No fooling around.
This is serious business.
I love those Lenn and I know that is very special for you! There's nothing better at the end of the day (even after the check), then getting a heart felt letter or card that truly tells you how much you meant to them. Brings a tear and suggested :)!
Lenn
Great testimonial and it makes all your efforts worthwhile.
Good luck and success.

Lenn - There is nothing like the satisfaction of helping your clients buy or sell their home. It's good to see that even after all these years, you are still deeply touched by your clients' appreciation of your work. It is a business, but one with real satisfactions for a job well done and sometimes the side benefit of making new friends.
Lenn, this is a wonderful note from a grateful client. I'm glad you tooted your own horn because notes like this feel good and you deserve that. I always appreciate a paycheck but notes from happy clients are in many ways worth so much more than money.
Yes, it is a business, yet, sometime we do sink in helping people just because they are .....nice people:)( at least some of us:). What a beautiful feeling to receive such card of blessings:)!
Brenda. This lovely lady will now be a good neighbor. They bought in Lovettsville.
Thanks Lou.
Gail. For many real estate agents, technologh and gadgets drive their practice today. Since I speak with everyone that I sell myself and those that I refer out, I've never lost the understanding of how deeply we can affect their lives.
Roberta. Thanks for the kind words. Many on this forum share my experiences and I theirs.
Iris. Equal in importance and equally appreciated.
Inna. The card reflects the personality of this wonderful buyer.
Lenn - Oh, those are the best types of thank yous. Good for you and I'm so glad your client took the time to do this.
Well, now, this doesn't surprise me Lenn! That is the nicest thank you I've seen in a while. That must have made your month!
Debbie. I am too. She's a very gracious lady.
Jackie. Indeed. That's why it is so dear, it's the nicest in a while.
Lenn that is very nice - congrats! It always makes you feel great to receive a note like this.
Hi Lenn. You know that client was fullfilled and at the end of the day the time to write those words to you are priceless!
Bill. Indeed it does, especially since they are unsolicited.
Cheryl. That is absolutely correct.
I like this post. I think ActiveRain needs a 'like' button of some sort. I don't really have anything to say.......I just like it. But it couldn't be a 'like' button. What could it be?
A splash?
"splash".........hmmmm, need to think about this a little more.
I hope your time out with clients isn't cutting into your fishing or gun range time :-)
Good evening Lenn. Even though you know how hard you work it sure is nice to hear someone else testify to your talents. Finding appreciative sellers or buyers is a tough one in today's world. Congrats Lenn!
Now that is a ringing endorsement - one we all seek and rarely receive in writing! Well done, Lenn.
Bob. Thanks. Actually, I haven't had a trap gun to shoot for 2 months. One has been with my gunsmith for a repair and the other at the Browning factory since February. I got the one from my gunsmith last week and went to the range Saturday afternoon. I did go out to shoot a few rounds of skeet, but it's not a good substitute the the trap field. I spent a couple of days on the lake about a months or so ago. I plan to get back to the lake before cold weather sets in.
Not to worry. I know the importance of down time.
Randy. I think I've been lucky there. I am pretty persnickety about whom I accept as a buyer/client.
Gary. Absolutely. It is truly special - like the lady that wrote it.
Lenn, It is OK to toot that horn when you know you have done a good job. By the sounds of that paycheck thank you note...the tooting is well deserved!
Any chance you can join us this Saturday, in Chesapeake Beach, for the Ovarian Cancer walk and breakfast to follow?
Margaret
Margaret. Sorry. I've been in Charles County for the past 3 days with a lovely former buyer who wants to buy their 3rd home, this one for their daughter.
I need some time at home and have a new home buyer and need to preview some builders. She wants a Rambler and there aren't many builders who have that style in their portfolio.
