The #1 thing buyers look at first are photos!
I was cruzing around Active Rains google and came across this awesome and informative post that I thought this was a must read for our tight community of Active Rain Real Estate Professionals.
The #1 thing buyers look at first are photos!! Let's face it, we're all naturally attracted to visually appealing things. After all these years in real estate I strongly believe, no actually I'm convinced, that having GREAT QUALITY (not just good, but GREAT) photos makes a HUGE difference in attracting the quantity and quality of buyers! Let's face it, nice HD photos seem to hypnotize you.
Last week I figured out how to process my regular photos into HD with great results! Here's a sample:
This process took some time (about 20 minutes per photo) but the end result was 1000% worth it! I used a series of programs, scripts, actions, and styles in the Adobe Creative Suite. If you're a power user of Adobe Design software you're all set! I used a standard digital image and converted it into this.
For the photos gurus, no bracket shots. This was taken from a single (normal -- auto) exposure hand held digital camera.
I think the final version is awesome and something Im going to start doing from now on. Some extra time on photo processing seem worth it to make my photos POP and give my listing that extra little edge.
