Cincinnati Zoo babiesCincinnati Zoo Babies 28th Annual Celebration May 1-31 2013

The Cincinnati Zoo Babies is one of the favorite Cincinnati Zoo events of the year!  All those cute little babies just bring out the "Awwwwwwwwwwww" in everyone!  And it's a testament to the Cincinnati Zoo what a great environment they provide for their breeding programs to be such a success!

The Cincinnati Zoo Babies 28th annual celebration runs the entire month of May, and seeing the young ones is part of your normal Cincinnati Zoo admission (details below).

And to add to the fun, the Cincinnati Zoo Babies celebration features special appearances by children friendly entertainment, with scheduled May 4th Barney (yeah, the purple dinosaur and we dare you to not think of his theme song!), May 11th The Avengers, and May 18th Curious George!

Now back to the Zoo Babies!  Who's new to the zoo??

Well the one getting the most press lately is Gladys the Western Lowland Gorilla (no, that's not her in the photo...that's a stock shot from a service).  Volunteers have been donning a special gorilla suit to hold and socialize Gladys, and now it's time for her debut!

Now also new to the mix are Lulu the giraffe, Bobby the sifaka, Savanna the cheetah (she's SUPER FAST!), Reveillon the Brazilian ocelet, the Fennec Fox trio Annie, Billy and Hannah, and there's plenty more little ones!  Baby penguins, Pallas cats, turtles and more!  So pay a visit to the Cincinnati Zoo and get an overload of CUTE!!!

Regular Cincinnati Zoo admission $15/Adults, $10/kids (you can usually get a few dollars off single day admissions at your local Kroger).  Parking is an additional $8.

To plan your visit check www.CincinnatiZoo.org for directions, hours and more details concerning the Cincinnati Zoo or give them a call at 513.281.4700.

We hope you have a great time!

How fun!  I've never been to the Cincinnati Zoo, maybe it's time for a little road trip.

Roger, We've been there a few times, but it's been a couple of years I think, when some friends visited.

Hi Bliz - Zoo babies!! If I were anywhere near the Cincinnati Zoo, I'd definitely want to see the baby animals - it sounds like a great event.

Dick, They have pictures and the birthdates of the zoo babies on the Zoo's website.  Pretty cute...well except for the baby spiders.  No thanks!

BLiz: This would be a must see if I was in your area.  I love the zoo anyway and an opportunity to see all the cute babies would put this over the top for me.

Brenda, I'd thought the same thing!  Some of these critters are REALLY cute now, but I wouldn't want to meet them all grown up in the wild!

Awwwwww! The Cincinnati Zoo Babies 28th annual celebration is a fabulous event and that baby in the pictures is cute. I caught the glimpse of my first baby deer in our front yard two days ago, something about little baby animals make you feel beautiful inside.

Bob, We see LOTS of deer around our house, but the fawns keep a low profile.
