Morrow's Valley Vineyards Wine & Beer Festival May 31 & June 1 2013
Valley Vineyards is expanding their Wine & Beer Festival. The last couple of years it's been one day only, but now it's back to Friday & Saturday both! However, there is still NO overnight camping/parking, so keep yourself able to leave. Remember, you don't have to go home, but you can't stay there! Parking is $5 by the way!
So this year, the event will take place from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday May 31 & 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday June 1. Access is easy, Valley Vineyards is located in Hamilton Township on U.S. Route 22/3, just a bit north of the SR48 intersection.
Valley Vineyards started in 1969, and the acres of grapes have been producing some of the best Ohio wine ever since! White or red, they've got something for your preference, by the glass or bottle. Don't know much about wine or beer? They'll have Libation Education Tents to help you out!
The event will feature Warren County food and wine at it's best! Tours will show how Valley Vineyards grows and produces various wines. Tethered hot air balloon rides by Bella Balloons and a dusk balloon glow too! Live entertainment available too, Nicholas & The Pessimistics, Them Bones and also DV8 will be performing over the two days. Bibs & Barefeet will be performing also (busy summer for them since they'll be at the Berry Festival later in the month!).
And to benefit Hamilton Township's Shop With A Cop program, there will be a fun run/walk through the vineyards, registration at 9 on Saturday morning, event starts at 10 a.m. Fee is $10 in advance, or $15 at the event for single entries, $20/$25 for family entries.
