The real estate market in Bridgewater shows no sign of improvement
For the month of June 2013 there were no single family home sales in Bridgewater, CT. For those living in Bridgewater this must be of concern, and for those trying to sell their homes it has to be very distressing news.
What went wrong?
Since January 1 of 2013 there have been only 2 sales. I can't answer the question as to why, especially when Roxbury and Washington are both posting single family sales in the month of June. Because they are in the same school district and share school services I feel those 2 towns are best to use as comps for Bridgewater.
The long and short of the answer is, I don't know.
Bridgewater is beautiful, a very picturesque rural Connecticut town. There are some great deals there with homes at both ends of the scale. There are, as I write this, 50 single family homes on the market. 3 homes are under deposit and 3 sale pendings. I hope that means we will see 6 closings coming soon! But still, it is a puzzle as to what is happening there with the real estate market.
