Sign The Petition To Fix The Nation's Flood Insurance Rules

Barbara-Jo,  The new flood insurance Rules are killing transactions preventing homeowners from selling and the would be buyers from buying.  We need the change.  I will sign the Petition.

I agree. There is considerable pushback. Appeals are being filed.  The uproar is on.

A lot of our agents are in these flood zone and the rates are going to cause them a lot of anguish... We already are seeing buyers walk far away from homes in flood zone... I too found this from a re-blog and I have signed it...

     I first became aware of this via The Tampa Tribune (online).   Some poor guy whose insurance was going up from $600 or so per year to several thousand per year.  

     This is a destructive force that will wreak havoc on Sellers of houses in Flood Areas.

There are a lot of places in California where these rules and new costs make no sense.  I'm off to sign.
