A recent buyer of one of our Fresco homes at The Greens made a comment as they were signing their purchase and sale agreement.... "I bet it took us the longest to buy a home at The Pinehills."
Not true, we have had buyers take longer. In fact, we still have (future) buyers that plan on being here as soon as circumstances allow.
For some it's simple, they find something they like and they don't have to sell to buy. For others, they have to sell before they can buy.
Then you must factor in timing for delivery of a newly constructed home. In new construction, the home is not going to be ready in the typical time (30 to 60 days) it takes to convey your existing home. Delivery for our new construction averages 6 to 8 months.
If you need to sell to buy, chances are you need to find a place to live while the home is being constructed.
So you see, buying new construction is a process and it's not the same for everyone!
