Shortly after I got pregnant with my third son I had a serious injury to my right hand. In fact I cut the median nerve. Surgery was required to save the hand but in order to perform the surgery I had to have an operation. I refused to do so!!! My entire family was against my decision. My Father, a Doctor and a devout Christian also encouraged me to listen to the Doctors that were telling me that if I didn't let them operate I would lose the use of my hand. In spite of all their advice I refused to have the abortion and therefore was not able to have the surgery to save my hand. I choose to save my child not my hand.
Today and every day I thank God for giving me the courage to do so.

Had I had that abortion this beautiful Sun (also a doctor) would have never been born and guess what... my hand is great... a little numbness once in a while but other than that it is perfect... and has been so for 43 plus years and it still has glass pressing on the median nerve... go figure... Our God works in strange ways...
This morning I thank God for all that I am and all that I have.
