The Hernando Fine Arts Council is celebrating the 30th annual Art in the Park event with over 115 artists, performers, and crafters participating in this popular Brooksville festival that is expected to draw over 5000 visitors.
Art in the Park is a juried art show featuring fine art, fine craft, as well as a county-wide student art show with over 300 works of art from Hernando County school students.
The festival will take place in the beautiful setting of Tom Varn Park in Brooksville, Florida. Kids will have fun in their Children's Art Activity Tent and there will be plenty of food vendors offering a variety of yummy fare.
Insider Tips:
This is an outdoor event and although Tom
Varn Park offers plenty of trees for shade, you
may consider wearing sunscreen. Bring some
insect repellent if you are sensitive just in case.
You can bring blankets or chairs to sit on and
don't forget your camera!
Why attend Art in the Park?
The Art in the Park festival is a fun event for the
entire family! All proceeds of the event will benefit the Hernando County Fine Arts Council supporting the arts in Hernando County including the support of students, artists, musicians, dancers, and many others. The Fine Arts Council does not receive any public funding and relies solely on community support.
