What's In Your New Dream Home?
This post is in response to the Contest, "Beazer Homes And ActiveRain Challenge, What's In Your Dream Home?" According to a National Association of Realtors 2013 Survey, 9 out of 10 consumers report that they are either somewhat or very concerned with rising heating and cooling costs. Since this is a concern, offering energy efficient features would seem prudent.
Beazer Homes has done a great job of offering energy efficient features and 100% of their homes are Energy Star, which is important to consumers. Lowering utility bills and saving consumers money is a great benefit of owning an Energy Star home. There are a lot of great features already included, but one feature would be a nice bonus. 
Programmable thermostats are typically included among their Energy Star homes, but what about a NEST thermostat? Touted as a "Learning Thermostat," NEST Thermostats learn your living habits and adjust automatically, which saves even more money for consumers.
I love that it comes with app so it can be adjusted while you're away. My dream home would include a NEST Thermostat!
