Underwriters Do Have A Sense Of Humor. This week I e-mailed my Underwriter a question I knew the answer to, but I could not find the Fannie Mae Guideline for it. My Underwriter did not have the regulation handy, and replied she would sent it to me after she looked it up.
A couple of hours went by and she sent me an e-mail with a link. I was expecting the link to be to the online guidelines our Underwriters have access to for Fannie Mae. So I was very surprised when I clicked on the link, and up came one of my ActiveRain blogs I had written about two years ago about the same guideline. Once I opened the link I could not stop laughing, and went right over to her desk.
When I got close to her desk I could hear her and the other Underwriters laughing about it. She must have felt I would be coming over to see her, because she had a copy of the Fannie Mae Guideline in her hand ready to give me. We all laughed about it some more, and then she asked if I had the answer in one of my blogs why was I asking her. I told her it was because I did not list the section of the Fannie Mae guideline in my blog, and now I could not find it again.
It was good to see a side of my Underwriter I normally do not get to see, we are usually battling over a loan, or something she is requested from one of my Borrowers I do not feel is needed. This showed me Underwriters Do Have A Sense Of Humor even if we do not see it very often.
