Fishhawk Lake Real Estate-Another First Timer and An Offer!

There seems to be a trend lately at Fishhawk Lake; come up to Fishhawk Lake, look at two homes with this full time resident/realtor, make an offer!

All in about 2 hours!

This is partially a result of my buyers doing a lot of online reading. To the point that they are quoting some of my posts. I'll start to say some Fishhawk Lake factoid, and before my sentence gets halfway through, the buyer has finished it! Just yesterday one of my two buyers knew so many of the things I've written about Fishhawk Lake that I looked at her and said, "Gosh, you could be my assistant!"

Any of you who feel that blogging is wasted time, HELLO…wake up! It WORKS.

Two of the last three buyers have come from out-of-town or out-of-state, looked at the first one, pretty much made a decision then and there, and looked at a second one just to solidify it. They've done their online research and really narrowed it down to this particular private quiet lake that fits the balance they are looking for in their lives.

Gotta admit, it makes one a bit heady with excitement!  It feels a little like Christmas Eve and the stores are all closing early and you have to buy something NOW!

Call me crazy, but now I’m wondering what I’m gonna do if and when I start to face that dilemma of not  having enough inventory to sell. You folks out in urbania who’ve seen this frenzy are two steps ahead of me. Any advice?

Hi Gayle, If that day comes, you will just have sell some more homes, you could try this but it might not work, LOL.  "Ok, you have lived here long enough, it is time to sell, need to make room for some new folks  to give them a chance to experience the wonderful life you have had " or get a builder to add some new ones nearby.

Sounds like you are doing all the right things.  Start blogging about what your buyers are looking for and maybe the people that are thinking about selling will start to call you too!  Best of luck to you.

Good morning Gayle. These buyers are very fortunate to be working with you, as no one knows this market better than you do. Having said that, how could a seller consider using someone else to sell a Fishhawk Lake property?

Good morning Gayle. What a wonderful problem to have. Great news and if the inventory is down you will just have to shift your focus.

Low inventory will be compensated by higher prices.

Agents will benefit from higher commissions rather than more sales.

Or, quality rather than quantify.

Works for me.

Gary, it IS great! Now, more work!!

Liz and Bill, well, it's getting to the point where there isn't much to choose from that's lakefront....

Joan, thank you!!!

omg, William, you are hysterical!!! I loved this comment!

Donald, it IS, but sometimes they only know that this lake is what they want, but a house, not so much.

Karen, blogging about this is a good idea, but I represent most of the sellers out here, too.

Amen, Joe.

James Dray , I'll have to check it out..I like it when you do posts that are different than the trivia ones.

Sheila, my focus is pretty darned broad already.

Lenn Harley, well you always have a viable solution at hand.

Kristin, I loved that "chica" part! It still makes me smile!!

Wayne, swear it's that continual blogging that I'm doing.

Jeff, generally speaking, yes. But I have to say, that sometimes people are simpy following a dream and come out here and fall in love.
