And they are two very different things.
Not all buyers have the same taste in homes and it is up to their agent to help them decide whether a property is one they want or will pass on. It is also a buyers agent responsibility to control their client from leaving notes behind that are insulting and uncalled for.
I'm saying the culprit who left the note posted in the listing was a prospective buyer. I don't even want to think about a Realtor® who would be so unprofessional to try this tactic.
We ask for feedback after showings. Sometimes we get it and sometimes we don't. When we do, we filter what is said to better advise our clients on anything they may need to do to improve the chances of home sale.
Fortunately I don't think the owners saw the note as I expect they would have completely flipped. As much as I would have liked to track down who left the note it wasn't worth the effort. Fortunately for the owner the house sold. So not everyone thought "your house sucks."
