Holiday Traditions And Gingerbread Boy Casualties
We had such great fun last year tracking the Gingerbread Boys travel from Scottsdale, Arizona to San Jose, CA. If memory serves me correctly it took about 21 days for the Gingerbread Boys to arrive in San Jose. You can read about that story here. There were casualties.
I finally received the package Juli Vosmik sent to me this year. You can read about the 2014 adventure of the traveling Gingerbread boys here.
Yes, there were casualties in 2014 as well. Six (6) of the nine (9) were injured. Their injuries are itemize below from left to right:
1. Cactus broke at top and bottom. Truth be told I think it is flipping off the postal carriers
2. Gingerboy sustained major head trauma and the loss of his left ear.
3. Gingerboy lost both legs
4. Gingerboy lost left leg
5. Gingerboy lost right leg and injury on left side of skull
6. Gingerboy lost left arm
Those with no injuries, pictured below, assured me that the Ginger Boys did not suffer.
Even though the U.S.P.S. promised delivery on Tuesday, and the Ginger Boys arrival was delayed 5 days, I am grateful they are here in time for Christmas.
Thank you, Juli Vosmik. I appreciate your friendship and support. It means more to me than words alone can express.
