Ringing Up Evanston IL Friends in the Rain~ Noah Seidenberg
I’m so glad Debbie Reynolds offered this “Ringing and Singing in the Rain” challenge this month...it nudged me to contact some Active Rain Members I’d been wanting to visit with but haven’t made the time.
I called Noah Seidenberg and he answered on my first try! I’ve been following Noah’s post for some time. I remember when he lost his 91 year old father, Henry (his best friend) in the fall. I could tell from his posts how saddened he was and my heart went out to him. Noah was one of the first to send me an email when we lost our son over Christmas. His message was warm and heartfelt and I knew he meant it because he had just been through a death of a family member.
We had a wonderful conversation and visited about his dad and how much he missed him; as well as about our son Jeff and what lead up to his passing. Family dynamics was discussed as well as dealing with grief. I shared an article my son John emailed us as I thought it was a good one on Getting Grief Right.
I found out Noah’s been in real estate for 15 years and is another one who decided to give it a try after he purchased a home. Noah owned a successful computer consulting company so his decision was a big one. He works 80-90% with buyers especially ones moving into the area. Noah found his niche and discovered he is very good at explaining the home buying process in layman terms which is truly a gift. He actually works with many parents buying their children condos at the University!
Thank you Noah for picking up my call, it was wonderful to visit with you.. ...stay strong, keep busy and don’t forget to get back out and be social.
