Apparently once wasn't enough

Good morning everyone. Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest but that isn't always the case. I am thinking that I need to take Sundays off. 9 weeks ago today I stubbed my little toe on my left foot and broke it.

The toe is almost healed according to the doctor but I tore ligaments and tendons and that apparently will take longer. It burns some but for the most part it is much better

Well today on a Sunday I was cleaning out for my closet as one of my goals for 2015 which is to downsize and get rid of everything I don't need or use and that is taking up valuable space.

I had been working a while when I stubbed my toe AGAIN. This time however it was the toe next to the little toe. Same foot. I didn't hit it as hard as the first time so I honestly don't think I broke this one but it still hurts like the dickens.

It is like what the heck is going on here. 2 toes in 2 months. Geez. I do believe when I am working in my woman cave doing things I will wear my sneakers. Safer I think,  I just hope it doesn't affect the back like the broken toe has.

Oh, no!  That's not good  news. At least it isn't broken (hopefully).  Steel toed shoes may be in your future.

Sharon-I am used to dealing with pain with the back but this stubbing the toe twice needs to stop. I am purging closet, cupboards, sheds, anything and everything

Erin-At least reg sneaks in areas where there is too much on the floor

Susan-Regular sneaks would be the answer. I was in just socks and barefeet the first time. I think it will be OK.. Not as bad as the first time

You need to wear steel toed construction boots around, Sharon!

I'm convinced these types of injuries run in groups.  A couple of years ago, I was forever banging up my knees.

Myrl-I just need to wear sneaks that is for sure, Steel toed shoes would be mighty uncomfortable on a banged up toes. Oh I  don't want to hear about groups or things coming in three. two would be more than enough.

Sharon, having broke all ten toes and some twice, I can feel your pain.    Try and stay away from walls and anything you could bump into, and let that poor toe heal!

OMG...I hope it isn't as bad as the first stub, and you heal quickly. Maybe wearing shoes is a good plan for you.

Sharon Lee ~ what is going on! You can't catch a break right now (no pun intended)... All kidding aside, "please" take it easy right now.... Hopefully things are doing better today, I want to hear you are moving around pain free or as close to it as possible.... Anyway, thank goodness for Advil

Hi Jon-That is what I wanted to know. Once was plenty. Thankfully this one wasn't as bad as the first time.  Just a little pain left there. I wish I could say the same for the low back. That is a real PAIN. Literally!!! I unfortunately can't take Advil or any NSAIDS or aspirin. Don't know that I will ever be pain free but I will take what I had before the broken toe. Oh well. I just keep putting one foot in front of the other and do what I can.  I am a bit frustrated but I will be fine. Thank you for caring. Have a great Tuesday. It is a beautiful sunny 55* so I am good

Mary-You are too funny. Steel toed shoes are quite uncomfortable. Just putting shoes on should work.  I don't want ANYMORE broken toes. Toes is better but the back is NOT. Nice to see your smiling face my friend and hope you are having a wonderful 2015

Sharon, hope this was the last injury for the entire 2015. Try not to get involved in activities that would require body movement for a while. Hope you feel better soon!

I have months like that where things just happen, and you have to wonder why. This month is turning into one of those months. Still playing catchup after being gone.

Debbie Laity -That doesn't sound good. They say when it rains it pours. I can imagine with your schedule and with you do have a lot of catching up to do. Don't burn yourself out.
