HOW TO PURCHASE CITY-OWNED PROPERTY

We have all seen them, the boarded up properties with cinder blocks in the window openings and possibly stenciled with V2V on the boards or possibly Vacant to Value stencilled on the doors.  Have you wondered how to go about purchasing one of these properties?

Here is your opportunity to find out more about the City of Baltimore's Vacant to Value program.

Wednesday, February 11, 2015, 6-7PM at the Enoch Pratt Free Library’s Central Branch, 400 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD

The City offers a variety of properties to buyers interested in building or rehabbing for home-ownership and/or investment purposes. Join us for a brief overview on how to purchase vacant properties from the City of Baltimore.

You will need to pre-register for this event or call 410-396-4111, seating is limited.

Hi June,

I didn't know they'd renamed SCOPE properties to Vacants to Value. Shows how long it's been.

Hope all is well :)

I just did a property in Huntington Beach and the city paid for the home to re-habbed.  I like it when I see fees waved for military and their families.

This is a great and unique way to get new homebuyers to purchase properties. Our city will even fund some of these properties to get them off the vacant list.
