Yesterday morning I put a new listing in the MLS and quickly
had a showing scheduled for 2:30PM.
So I proceeded to set up an impromptu
Open House from 3-4.
Who does an open house on a Friday afternoon?
Six groups came through.
Today I have another scheduled showing and will repeat this open house.
Below are the steps for doing an Impromptu Open.
1.Wait for a scheduled appointment since you need to be there anyway.
2. Put it in the MLS.
3. Put up your open house sign.
4. Show the house to the scheduled agent.
5. Show to anyone else who comes through.
6. Lock the house and remove the signs.
7. Check the time. From start to finish-1 1/2 hours.
