The Lower Hastings Ranch neighborhood is primarily comprised of ranch style homes built in the 1950s. Along Cliff Drive and Hastings Ranch Road there are various condominium complexes built in the same period. Originally apartments and then converted, the condos are generally two bedrooms/two bathrooms with patios or balconies with a classic mid-century look in garden courtyard settings. Parking is typically in carports underneath the buildings.
There is currently one Lower Hastings Ranch condo available for sale. Newly listed it is a two bedroom, two bath second floor single level unit overlooking a central courtyard. It features a fireplace and approximately 1191 square feet. The unit in complex of just eight condos is listed for $415,000. There has been one mls-reported closed sale so far in 2015. It was located in the same complex as the newly listed unit and was the same square footage and sold for $394,000(list price $415,000) in March.
In 2014, there were three mls-reported sales for the year. They ranged from $400,000 to $415,000 with an average sales price of $408,333(median sales price $410,000). They sold at 100.99% of last list price and for $375.29 per square foot on average.
For full year, 2013, there were six sales which ranged in price from $265,000 to $388,000 with an average sales price of $341,817(median $373,500). The condos sold at an average 100.98% of last list price and for an average $277.72 per square foot.
The neighborhood is convenient to shopping - Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Nordstrom Rack, Sears, Home Goods, Ralphs and much more. There are various restaurants nearby. Also closeby is A Noise Within Theatre which is adjacent to the Gold Line light rail station at Sierra Madre Villa and the Foothill(210) Freeway.
