It's all about Family, Even if They're Not Blood!

Today, I took photos of a "family" of sorts. New vs old. Let me explain.
A family of four owners and lots of extended family decided to finally put their beloved cabin that they built 40ish years ago up for sale.
They listed with me.
There was so much family-oriented energy, love and memories tucked into this roomy and yet enveloping cabin that it was going to take some pretty intuitive buyers to feel that and act on it. 22 days later we had it in sale pending. I think it took them all by surprise! The couple with their young daughter had been searching for months and months online. When this came onto the market, they called immediately and it took no time at all for them to fall in love. They decided within two days to make an offer that was readily accepted by all parties (not an easy task, I thought, but I was wrong)!
It has gone so smoothly. Today there was a walk-through. Stories shared, laughter, cookies, the patter of a child's feet when exploring new surroundings
and petting the seller's dog (who happens to be the same breed as the buyers', one of MANY strange things they've had in common).
I asked if it would be okay to take a group photo. Well, as you can see by the photo above, it was as if they were already members of the family. This will be an emotional time for the sellers with so much of themselves invested in this home, the second one to be built at Fishhawk Lake back in 1969.
I truly feel that the sellers could not have picked more fitting buyers to take over their legacy. It was an honor to be part of this seamless process.
