Procrastination is a Bad Habit and a Personal Choice

Procrastination is the natural assassin of opportunity.”

Victor Kiam 1926 - 2001, American Entrepreneur

As I see it. . . . . . . . .

Procrastination is a bad habit and a personal choice

Procrastination is a bad habit . . . . and will keep you up at night. It will put you in a bad position . . . . and will derail your success journey.

DON’T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU. . . . . . .

Procrastination is a bad habit and a personal choice. It’s your choice to procrastinate . . . .  or to be proactive.  Decide today . . .  to change the habit of procrastination . . . . and to turn it into a new habit of being proactive.

Write down what you have to do daily that will create forward momentum on your success journey. Commit yourself . . . . to accomplish the most challenging things on your to do list first. As you complete each task on your list . . . . and check them  off list. What you’re doing is creating a list . . . . and the habit of small achievements.

Procrastination is a bad habit that limits your success . . . . and builds a wall between you . . . . and you reaching your full potential. Break the habit of procrastination . . . . and you will allow the flow of success into your life.

Procrastination is a bad habit and a personal choice. Do what’s important each day . . . . in the order of your priorities. When it has to be done . . . . and you will build a new and productive success habit to move your career forward.

It is so easy to fall into the habit of procrastination  and it is not easy to break.  Your ideas are a great way to break that habit.

Lou Ludwig sometimes you just don't feel like doing anything! At that time, if someone continues with the work, success is theirs!

I have the tendency to put things off. I'm working on that. I will get to it tomorrow. LOL. Just joking.

You know the thing about tomorrow...it never comes. It's always tomorrow.

Bare with me on this story. My ex husband and I heard a kitten screaming out into a cold, wet fall night. Remember we live in an extremely rural area. We followed those sounds with a flashlight. We lived on ten acres. We got cold and wet just trying to find the source of the crying. Our neighbor has 80 acres and another has 40 acres and so on. We found this kitten just over our property line. The kitten followed the light and I was able to grab it. This thing was so tiny and could barely walk.

We got it into the house. We put it into a crate. My husband told me it had to go to the shelter in the morning. I agreed. (LOL...really? like that was going to happen, and what color is the sky in his world?). This poor kitten could barely walk it was so hungry. I kept it by the woodstove to warm it up. I stayed up until 3am feeding it bits of food. Just small amounts at a time. Against my better judgement, I eventually took it to bed with me. I kept it under the covers to keep it warm.

The next morning, my husband says...it has to go to the shelter.

I told him I would take it there tomorrow. The next day he says the same thing, and I replied...I will take it there tomorrow.

Tomorrow never comes. It's always in the future.

That's cat's name is Ginger and she's a mean, scrawny SOB.

Hello Lou and Happy Sunday, Yes that is a bad habit to have, I guess that is why I do a list daily and do not stop till the list is done.

The great, late Wayne Dwyer taught me all about dealing with procrastination while in college. There was a chapter about it in one of his books that made a lot of sense to me. From then on I quit procrastinating doing papers until the day before they were due.....sure made a big difference and got rid of a lot of stress.
