Become a Specialist in a Market Niche

“The way to become rich is to put all your eggs in

one basket and then watch that basket.”

Andrew Carnegie 1835 - 1919, Scottish American

Industrialist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Become a specialist in a market niche.

It’s far better to be a big fish in a small pond . . . . then a small fish in a big pond.

Select a market niche . . . . and work that niche like you would work a gold mine . . .  You hard work will uncover the gold nuggets in that niche.

The nuggets . . . . of new business opportunities . . . . and referrals will be there for you to mine with your persistent efforts.

Accumulate all the knowledge that you can in your niche  . . . . Then you your efforts will position you stand out in your field . . . . and you become a recognized expert in your niche.

Put your energy and efforts into growing that niche . . . . into an unstoppable business force to where you are seen as the go to person in your niche.

The way to prosper in real estate . . . . is to become a specialist in a market niche . . . . and to become the big fish in a small pond. As you become bigger in your pond . . . . your pond will expand into greater opportunities.

I so do believe in this. In a really small town it probably isn't possible, but when there's enough population to support you in one niche, go for it!

Great re-blog Bob.  In real estate, like my teaching career, it really pays off to develop an area of speciality.
