How to Avoid Handing Out Candy in Land Park

Don't know what it was, but so many people I knew were just not in the mood this year!

Elizabeth, My porch light was out. I was in my office working. I think the kiddos got the message. Not one knock on my door ... despite the fact that I heard lots of kiddy noise outside. 

this year was odd, i suspect somebody will write an entire book on 2015 Halloween . As it appears to be be very different across the board

Elizabeth- I love  Halloween and, unfortunately, ran out after 130 kids!  Had to turn off the light and hide in the back. We did have fun watching football and the World Series.  BTW went to your blog and read your menu.  I am so hungry now!!!

I was guilty of lights out with a movie on last night.  Mark

This was the first time in many years that we did not give out treats.  We instead treated ourselves to a little bonfire party.  Was a nice change of pace, but I did miss seeing the little ones in their costumes.

Good morning Elizabeth.  I should have followed your lead and left.  Had a great time and I'm sure all the kiddos are still on that sugar rush.. 

We were home Halloween night, Elizabeth.  But there just aren't very many kids left in our neighborhood and the ones that are tend to go to more convenient areas with shorter driveways to increase their potential booty.

Good morning Elizabeth. We stayed home, made a romantic evening out of it, as we are very rural and ended up with no trick or treaters. Turned out very good.
